Winchester Repeating Arms: the oldest name in American repeaters
Oliver Winchester put his name over the door in 1866, and within a decade the Model 1873 had earned the line the company still leads with: The Gun That Won the West. The horse-and-rider mark dates to 1919. Winchester never stopped drawing new guns, though. The Model 70 arrived in 1936 and is known as the Bolt-Action Rifle of the Century. The SXP pump came in 2010. The XPR, launched in 2015, was Winchester's first new bolt-action design in half a century. The SX4 autoloader, the Wildcat and the Xpert rimfires came after that. Today Winchester Repeating Arms sits inside the Herstal Group, and it talks about itself the way it always has: proud of the heritage, a little impatient with anyone who thinks heritage is all there is.

- SXP - Winchester calls it the world's fastest pump, and the inertia-assisted action riding on four rotary bolt lugs is the reason. Field and Field Compact for birds and clays, Black Shadow for a no-frills synthetic gun, Waterfowl Hunter in camo with a 3.5 in chamber, and the Trap with a 30 in barrel.
- SXP Defender - The 18 in version for the closet, in 12 and 20 gauge. Defender, Shadow Defender, Extreme Defender with or without a pistol grip, and the Marine Defender finished for salt air and boat lockers.
- SX4 - The fourth-generation Super X and American Hunter's 2018 Shotgun of the Year. The Active Valve gas system runs light target loads and heavy 3.5 in magnums from the same gun and takes the sting out of both. Field in walnut, Waterfowl Hunter and Hybrid Hunter in camo, 12 and 20 gauge.
- SX4 Defender - The same gas gun cut to 18.5 in and dressed in Woodland camo, as a Defender or Extreme Defender, for anyone who wants an autoloader by the bed.

- XPR - Winchester's working bolt action: M.O.A. trigger, Perma-Cote weather finish, and a nickel-Teflon bolt that comes out with a push button. Reviewers keep printing sub-MOA groups with it. Rimfire
- Wildcat - A semi-auto 22 LR whose lower drops out at the push of a button, no tools, so you can clean the bore from the breech. Standard, VSX Tungsten, Midnight and Carbon versions, with 16.5 in and 18 in barrels.
- Xpert - The Wildcat's bolt-action sibling with a Rimfire M.O.A. trigger. In 22 LR, 17 Winchester Super Magnum, and the new 21 Sharp, which seats a non-heeled .21 caliber bullet on a 22 LR case. The 17 Winchester Super Magnum is also offered as a package.
- Ranger - A lever-action 22 LR with a 20.5 in barrel, the right gun for teaching the next generation how to work an action.
