Tikka takes the popular T1x platform to the next level with the T1x UPR. One of the most notable upgrades is its stock, which features a full fiberglass construction with carbon fiber bedding on the surface. This increases the rigidity of the stock, which in turn increases the accuracy. This precision-style stock also utilizes a vertical grip for greater ergonomics when shooting from a prone position. Cheek height and length of pull can be adjusted to fit virtually any shooter, and a rough texturing ensures a superior grip even in adverse conditions. In addition, the T1x features a cold hammer forged barrel with a cross-over profile that provides the stability of a heavy barrel but doesn't add noticeable weight. The weather-resistant stainless steel bolt offers a smooth action and the utmost reliability.
