Built for a tough world, we use a satin hard chrome plating thats permanently bonded to the steel underneath that doesnt flake, chip, peel, and has a corrosion resistance that actually exceeds some stainless steel. Not only does this increase surface hardness, but it also reduces friction on moving parts to take our already smooth action to the next level. Details are important, so even the screws are stainless.
